Tuscan Fireplace

Image
This Tuscan fireplace was built using concrete block . We had a gas line ran to the fireplace with a key insert on the side to turn the unit off and on . We also built two benches on each side with columns at the ends which have irrigation lines ran through for the planters on top of the columns. Then we installed a stone veneer on the columns and face of fireplace . We also used big slabs of flagstone for the top of the benches and hearth.

New pool deck and raised patio

Image
This customer had a pool with a deck that was cracked and the cool decking was chipping all over . The back yard was in much need of a make over, We added a raised patio with a sitting wall , we removed all de-laminating cool deck and resurfaced the pool area with a high strength overlay . A medium texture was used to prevent slipping . Then the surface was stained a Mocha brown . We finished this project by stucco and painting the property walls and some landscaping .

Beautiful Flagstone Overlay in Globe , AZ

Image
The front walkway , courtyard and back patio had a concrete paint that the bond failed and peeled all over.  We had to use a diamond grinder to grind the surface and remove the paint . Then pressure washed the surface to clean it free from grime and debris.  We used a high strength cement overlay to  give this walkway a unique flagstone design. Two tones of brown were used then a light spray of black pigment was added to give the stone a natural aged look. The courtyard was a big space and needed something to break-up the pattern so we added a  mosaic piece near the front door . It really set off the curb appeal of this hill side home.

Block BBQ using split face block

Image
This seven foot long BBQ is built using split face block to give the surface some texture . We poured a colored concrete counter-top which has a decorative bull-nose and the color matches the trim on the house to tie it together . A BBQ from Barber-Que's Galore was used for this unit , a three burner natural gas stainless steel grill . A nice add-on for entertaining.
