This customer wanted a wall and column built to add some privacy and a courtyard feel . We also installed a rustic ledge stone veneer with beveled wall caps to finish it off .
This 20 foot BBQ was built at a Troon North home for a customer that really enjoys being outside and grilling ! This was built using concrete block , we incorporated this large boulder to give it a piece of Troon right in the BBQ. The counter top is made of concrete then we overlayed the counter top with a high strength acrylic cement to customize the surface. The counter was given a chiseled edge and a stone grain surface . A 6 burner stainless steel grill was used in this unit , we also installed a small refrigerator , stainless steel sink, plus storage draws . Last but not least to this monster outdoor kitchen , we added a wood pergola which we stained black to pick up the black in the native boulders.
As you see in this picture, the masonry paint is failing. The bond has been broken and now the paint is peeling everywhere. We can grind the surface with minimal damage to the concrete and remove the paint or epoxy or coatings. After grinding the surface we also pressure wash and de-grease surface to insure a clean prepped surface. At this point the surface is ready for many different options. Such as concrete stain and sealer, stamped overlay, stencil overlays or a high quality, deep penetrating concrete paint. Or the concrete can be resurfaced to bring it back to its original state or but be left the way it is.
