This customer had an existing fire pit but wanted stone veneer added to it and also decided on a barbeque. The barbeque was built from scratch and had stone veneer added to it.
This Tuscan fireplace was built using concrete block . We had a gas line ran to the fireplace with a key insert on the side to turn the unit off and on . We also built two benches on each side with columns at the ends which have irrigation lines ran through for the planters on top of the columns. Then we installed a stone veneer on the columns and face of fireplace . We also used big slabs of flagstone for the top of the benches and hearth.
This seven foot long BBQ is built using split face block to give the surface some texture . We poured a colored concrete counter-top which has a decorative bull-nose and the color matches the trim on the house to tie it together . A BBQ from Barber-Que's Galore was used for this unit , a three burner natural gas stainless steel grill . A nice add-on for entertaining.
